Over 44 years ago I started my training working on Twin-tubs and hoover Juniors, developing my skills and knowledge as new appliances came to the market, including microwaves and the latest technology surrounding energy-efficient washing machines, vacuum cleaners, and electric cookers.

I have worked with retailers and large trade suppliers to the industry, training new engineers, developing stock control processes, and serving both trade and domestic customers with fault-finding and repair advice.

In 2000 I established my own business working with individual customers and retail outlets, leading to the opening of 1st Call a warehouse based in Peterborough.

I am also a retailer of parts and new appliances to Countrywide trade and public customers. We now supply goods and parts to all corners of the UK with an efficient next working day delivery service. (Subject to delivery service strikes).

    This way you can find out the total cost before committing to a repair. If we can repair your appliance then we will give you a fixed price. This includes callout, labour, and any further visits. If you decide you don’t want to go ahead we will only charge you for the callout.
